We all have a happy place we can turn to where we find strength, comfort and peace that is reassuring and helps us feel calm inside. These places are where memories, dreams and hopes reside, and never before has there been such a need to have somewhere we can retreat to, to escape our hectic lifestyles.

Inspired by consumers’ stories about reclaiming their ‘happy place’ during uncertain times, we partnered with the Unilever US Bath & Body team to create a new brand visual identity and range design for a collection of bath and body products titled ‘Find Your Happy Place’, which empowers people to immerse themselves in the positive experiences shared by others.

The ‘Find Your Happy Place’ range has been created to transform your mood and help wash away a little of life’s daily stress and anxiety.  Each collection is an invitation to return to these happy experiences which awaken the senses through the use of colour, scent and emotion.

Our aim was to capture each special moment in time and transport people back to a magical place through emotionally led designs.

We commissioned a selection of illustrators with distinctive styles to bring each experience to life.  The first collection encompasses special moments such as ‘lazy weekends’ and ‘under the starlit sky’.  Every aspect of the design has been considered to express the personality of the brand and to bring each individual story to life.

 Whilst it was essential to create a strong brand architecture to allow the entire portfolio to work harmoniously across a large number of variants, it was also key that each collection retained its own distinct personality and felt premium without losing its sense of fun.
